Reflecting on my come back to London

As many of you know, I was away from the London Salsa scene for a few years, working mainly internationally. I opened my Academy again in September 2017
I could not be happier to make London my Academy Home again. I love this city and all its people. I love the Salsa Scene and I am amazed at how much it has grown and developed in the last few years.
When I started dancing Salsa in London in 1991, I never thought it would become so big! And I certainly never thought that after 16 years as a ballet dancer I would end up making a career of Salsa, and most specifically, Mambo. The appreciation I feel for being part of the UK Salsa scene only grows with every new year that I am a part of it. I feel I am part of its history and I love to be able to continue to contribute to our wonderful salsa community.
London is full of new hungry young talent and I feel excited to be helping these new dancers fulfil their goals. In also love seen the other pionners still at it, creating new opportunities and growing and developing hand in hand with the new talent!
London is on the way to become the new MILAN, the new NY and I am full of excitement for the future!
Let’s continue to unite in making London a Salsa capital!
